The area is host to six suburban-sized Seabra&#8217;s supermarkets all within walking distance of each other \u2013 the mother lode of Portuguese and Brazilian food cravings! Since I was traveling solo that day, I and my OCD decided to hit every one in order to compare and contrast.<\/p>\n<p>And it was absolutely worth the exercise, because I struck gold in the form of Brazilian prepared food. <\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve written here about churrasco, Brazilian style grilled meat; churrascarias often offer rod\u00edzio where waiters parade an assortment of meats impaled on formidable skewers directly to your table. So I was more than pleased to see that a couple of the Seabra\u2019s I visited had continually replenished extended steam tables and refrigerated counters brimming with a diversity of grilled meats, seafood, authentic Brazilian dishes and the best p\u00e3o de queijo I\u2019ve had in a long time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1080\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/IMG_3805-use-edited-1440-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Item by item, I filled my containers, hastily scribbling notes between each addition in order to subsequently identify and further research it.<\/p>\n<p>I arrived home with my treasures and piled them onto the three plates shown here \u2013 not for serving purposes but so that you could see the sheer variety and abund\u00e2ncia; obviously, there are considerably more than three meals represented here.
