Fubuki means snowstorm in Japanese and indeed the thin cakey white coating does give the appearance of a snowball but it\u2019s the chunky sweet red bean paste within that provides the dominant flavor of this confection; it\u2019s unlike mochi where the outer coating is a lot thicker and made from glutinous rice.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know about fubuki manju, right?
