Soft, flaky, swirly layers of creamy, tissuey dough swathe a confection of mung bean paste surrounding a heart of salted egg yolk. But don\u2019t deconstruct it: just take a bite and taste why it\u2019s remarkable. When you look closely and stop to think about it, these are really a sweet metaphor for the egg reimagined, its white shell protecting its two-tone sunny contents.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1440\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9060\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ethnojunkie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/UMAO5530-1024x1024.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nCoconut Pancakes, griddled fresh, right before your hungry eyes, warm and chewy.
