Chocolate Pecan Whiskey Balls

🍪🍪🍪
Named for the chocolate and toasted pecans in them, but especially for the pecan whiskey (yes, it’s a thing). Sparkling sugar adds a crunchy, festive touch.

Stay tuned: there’s more to come!

    • Hi Harvey!

I am truly sorry! The problem with providing recipes for anything I’ve tweaked over the years is that I have to de-ethnojunkie them. Some examples from my chicken scratchings: “Put about half a teaspoon of baking soda (more if it’s the one that expired in 2019) into the medium blue bowl. In the large blue bowl, add enough cinnamon to taste but use the Vietnamese stuff (or the Chinese stuff in a pinch, but not the Sri Lankan cassia for this although it’s perfect in (name of a different recipe). Check the recipe for (name of another recipe) for the proper spice blend – look in the blue folder on the third shelf. Use the baking sheet (name withheld) gave you for this. And remember to turn off the smoke alarm before starting.”

One day when I have time, I’ll tease out some recipes from this gibberish!
